Tieghan Gerard began cooking at the age of 15, preparing dishes for her five picky brothers, one little sister and two busy parents in Colorado. As she simmered and sautéed, she discovered her culinary passion and began honing her expert photography skills. In 2012, her blog, Half Baked Harvest was born as was her millennial authority status in the food world. She currently resides in a renovated log-barn in Siverthorne, Colorado that also serves as her working studio, with her family just next door.
Gerard is known, both on her blog and in her debut cookbook, Half Baked Harvest: Recipes from My Barn in the Mountains, for her stunningly beautiful meals and thoughtful recipes that are simple, colorful and taste even better than they look.
Gerard takes what fans loved most about her debut and offers more manageable dishes with fewer ingredients for time-crunched weekday meals that are truly delicious.
